Swift Creek |
The Swift Creek trail travels
8 miles though ancient old growth forest and meadows to the Lake Ann Trail
Junction. The creeks is fed by glacier
melt off. The upper end of the trail
connects with the Lake Ann Trail #600
which leads to Heather Meadows and The beginning elevation is
1,400 feet and it rises to 2,500 feet at the Lake Ann Trail Junction. It should be noted that this
is not a trail for beginners. There
are no bridges over Rainbow and Swift creeks and these creeks can be
extremely dangerous to ford, especially in the afternoon when the water level
increases. The crossings are at 0.5
miles and 2.0 miles up the trail. A |

Trailhead Access
- South End From Sedro-Woolley, follow
State Route 20 east for 16.0 miles to milepost 82. Turn left (north) on the Trailhead Access
- North End From Glacier , travel east on
Mt. Baker Highway 542 for 23.0 miles to Heather Meadows. The
