This 1.3 mile trail is easy outbound because it drops 1400 feet in elevation but the going is difficult when you want to come back so keep in mind the return hike and its 1400 foot climb.

It is a rough trail with switchbacks downhill through old-growth forest.  It leads to a secluded campsite at the confluence of the forks of Canyon Creek. This spot is seldom visited and because of its low elevation, is free of snow and accessible early in the spring.

A Northwest Forest Pass is required for each vehicle parked at the trailhead.
